Recently in South Africa, two gay partners got married in front of over 200 guests at a community hall. The event which marks South Africa's first same sex marriage took many by surprise. 27-year-old lovers, Thoba Sithole and Tshepo Modisane dated for years before the surprise wedding.

They plan to take a unique surname Sithole-Modisane. They also plan to have children using a surrogate mother in the future.
