Jurors in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial were shown a gruesome autopsy photograph of the music legend's corpse on Monday (06 May 2013). The late star's mother Katherine is suing concert bosses at AEG Live, the promoters behind his doomed This Is It comeback gigs, alleging they were negligent in ignoring her son's life-threatening health issues. She also blames them for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for administering the dose of anaesthetic Propofol which killed the King of Pop in June, 2009.
Katherine and other family members have been attending the court case in Los Angeles but they were warned by lawyers to keep away on Monday as a heartbreaking image of Jackson's body was shown to the jury. The photo revealed Jackson had his scalp tattooed black and his lips inked pink, and there were scars behind his ears suggesting he had undergone a facelift, according to the New York Post.
