Harper Beckham showed her support at dad David's final football match last night. Victoria Beckham dressed her daughter in a matching sports top with the words 'Daddy' written across the back as he played his last professional game. Cute! Isn't it? David Beckham announced earlier this week that he was going to retire after it emerged he planned to spend more time with his wife and kids.
A source claimed toThe Sun: "Everything he has said about wanting to leave at the top is true -- and it worked out very nicely, winning the French title." "But he would have continued. The major and deciding factor was Victoria and the kids," the source added.
The news came after the football ace admitted that being away from his four children - Harper, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - was a difficult part of the job he loved.
David had an emotional farewell as he played what is thought to be his last game for Paris Saint-Germain.
The 38-year-old broke down in tears on the field before he was joined by his three supportive sons.
Speaking about his final match he said: "The emotion started kicking in, it was hard to run, let alone kick a ball."
"I still feel good, but I know it's the right time [to retire]."
