Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z has put an end to speculation his wife Beyonce is pregnant with their second child, insisting the rumours are not true.
The message read: "I can't stop the rumors from starting, and I can't really change peoples [sic] minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me." The note was promptly removed, and she took to her other social networking account on Tumblr to share photos from the couple's recent trip to Cuba - with one picture, showing her surrounded by happy kids and captioned with the hash tag "#mylife", only serving to fuel the pregnancy talk.
However, Jay-Z has now broken his silence on the issue in a bid to silence the rumours once and for all in email correspondence with New York DJ Ebro Darden.
The Hot 97 programme director explains, "I emailed on some congratulations - 'Send my love to the family, blah, blah, blah'. He hit me back and said, 'It's not true'." According to Ebro, his pal blamed the mainstream media for spreading the rumours as the direct quote reads: "'It's not true - the news is worse than blogs.'"
