Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan, the current chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Lagos has been kidnapped. He was kidnapped by gunmen while returning home from work yesterday evening. According to an eyewitness, the gunmen kidnapped him at Egbe Bridge at about 11 O'clock last night.
Before his kidnap, Mr Bamigbetan tried to escape but the 4-man kidnap gang overpowered him.
In a bid to escape for his life, the victim’s car hit an electric pole. His driver escaped the attack but Bamigbetan was immediately captured by the kidnappers who bundled him into their car before making an escape. The official said that the management had made an official report to the state governor, Babatunde Fashola, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Commissioner of Police and other party leaders on the development.
